Job Full Description
An Edmonton client is seeking a Forklift Operator/Material Handler to join their team.
Forklift Operator/Material Handler Highlights:
· We are seeking a reliable and organized Forklift Operator / General Laborer to join our warehouse team. If you have forklift experience and enjoy working in a hands-on environment, this role is a great opportunity for you.
· Operate a forklift approximately 50% of the time to load and unload products for customers and suppliers.
· Handle general labor tasks such as material handling and organizing inventory, ensuring all products are placed in the correct location.
· Perform order-picking tasks, verifying the accuracy of picked items by checking product name, size, and other relevant details.
· Load customer orders and unload deliveries, ensuring safety and accuracy in all tasks.
· High School Diploma preferred but not required.
· At least 3 months of warehouse experience in a similar position.
· Forklift certification is an asset but not mandatory if you have relevant experience.
· Skills and Competencies:
· Strong verbal and written communication skills (English).
· Organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for accurate order picking.
· Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· Demonstrated teamwork skills and a track record of good attendance.
· Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift, raise, bend, and push materials, with repetitive lifting of up to 70 lbs.
· Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing physically demanding tasks.
· Availability for occasional overtime as required to meet operational needs.

· Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
