Job Full Description
An Edmonton client is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join their team. This role is key in executing and supporting HR activities across the organization, focusing on recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong generalist HR background with a focus on strategic execution and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding: Lead full-cycle recruitment, including job posting, interviewing, reference checks, and offer letters. Oversee the onboarding process for new hires.

Employee Relations: Provide day-to-day support to managers and staff, handling employee concerns, addressing conflicts, and ensuring a positive work environment.

Performance Management: Assist in managing performance reviews and employee development plans to ensure continuous growth and alignment with business objectives.

HR Reporting & Data Analysis: Prepare and present HR reports, maintaining accurate data to help drive strategic decisions.

HR Project Implementation: Support HR modernization initiatives, including the UKG Pro project and process improvements.

Policy Development: Contribute to the development, deployment, and communication of company policies, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.
Qualifications:

Experience: 5+ years in an HR Generalist role, preferably with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and HR best practices.

Education: Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or a related field. Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation is considered an asset.

Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and HRIS systems. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with high attention to detail.

Additional: Ability to handle confidential information, prioritize tasks effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Human Resources Business Partner Hours & Compensation:

Wage: $55,000 – $75,000 per year.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
