Express Employment Professionals is hiring on behalf of our client located in Vauxhall. They are an established seed cleaning/pea processing facility. We are looking for one (1) Maintenance Worker to join the team.

Job Description:

• Perform day to day maintenance in all areas of operation.
• Assistance in all areas of operation, when required.
• Fill out and maintain all applicable documents and forms, ensure they are properly stored.
• Responsible for keeping the work area clean, as needed.
• Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Class 5 License w/ reliable transportation.
• Class 1 License, an asset.
• Able to pass criminal background check, upon hire.
• Must demonstrate safe work practices.
• Must possess excellent communication skills.
• Able to lift 50lbs or more, when needed.
• Must be comfortable working both outdoors, and indoors.
• General knowledge of seed cleaning equipment.
• Understanding of electric and gas-powered motors, augers, and conveyer belts. Experience working with these, an asset.
• Forklift and skid steer operation, and maintenance
• WHMIS, Food Safety, Fire Safety knowledge, an asset. Will train on site.
