Job Summary
We are hiring a full-time Delivery & Installation Technician to deliver and install office furniture throughout Southern Alberta. This hands-on role requires physical strength, basic carpentry skills, and strong customer service. You'll work on-site and in the warehouse, representing the company with professionalism and care.
Key Duties
- Load/unload trucks and deliver furniture
- Assemble and install products per manufacturer specs
- Remove all packaging from client sites
- Maintain truck cleanliness and basic maintenance
- Assist with office moves and reconfigurations
- Perform warehouse tasks on non-delivery days
- Use tablets for job tracking and communication
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 license and clean driving abstract
- Able to drive cube vans and cab-over vehicles
- Physically fit: lift/push up to 100 lbs (300 lbs with assistance)
- Experience with tools/carpentry (furniture assembly a plus)
- Forklift certification preferred
- Professional, adaptable, and team-oriented
- Comfortable in all types of environments (schools, reserves, colonies)
- Must have steel-toe boots; PPE and shirts provided
Work Schedule
- Mon–Thurs: 8:00am–4:30pm
- Fri: 8:00am–4:00pm
- Occasional OT, weekends, and overnight travel
