Express Employment Professionals is hiring on behalf of our client, in Lethbridge. We are looking for cook.

Schedule: 1 Month

Major Responsibilities:

• Ability to physically handle: knives, pots (large & small) pans, bowls- variety sizing, or other display items-trays of sandwiches, food/desserts.
• Can grasp, lift carry kitchen items from shelves and racks.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs or more.
• Ability to perform a variety of cutting skills on work surfaces.
• Proper usage and handling of various kitchen machineries such as slicers, grinders, mixers, ovens, warmers and other kitchen related equipment.
• Must be able to work in extreme temperatures .
• Strictly adhere to prepare products according to the recipes and prep list given.
• Maintain and exceed proper levels of safety precautions in all activities performed.
• Assists in checking all food production sheets and adjust as necessary if directed to do so.
• Assist in other area as needed or required by the Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Skill and knowledge on food preparation and presentation methods, techniques, and quality standards.
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
