Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Class 5 Driver / Crew Lead on behalf of our client based here in Lethbridge.

Job Type: Fixed Term Contract
Work Location: In person
Schedule: Hours vary based on bookings (busiest in summer; slower in winter; month-end peaks)

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 5-ton moving truck
• Lead and coordinate the moving team on-site
• Protect, wrap, pack, and load items safely and efficiently
• Maintain high customer satisfaction and prevent damages
• Keep jobs on schedule and direct team members as needed
• Complete final invoices and collect client payment

Requirements

• Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s Licence
• Ability to provide a clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract
• Fluent English communication (required for regular client and coworker interaction)
• Personal phone with a data plan (for company apps)
• Strong driving, leadership, and communication skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Physically capable of heavy lifting, carrying, stairs, and repetitive movement
• Prior moving experience is an asset but not required
• Must be punctual, reliable, and professional

Uniform & Equipment

• All moving equipment provided (dollies, blankets, pads, straps, etc.)
• Uniform provided: hat, shirt, hoody, pants, non-steel-toe shoes
• Winter uniform: jacket and toque
• Steel-toe boots optional; gloves not provided (employees may use their own)

Overtime

• Hours over 44 per week are banked as time-in-lieu
