Express Employment Professionals Cloverdale/ Langley offices client is a recognized leader in Wacker-Neuson, Bandit, and Avant parts, service, sales, and rentals for compact and light equipment. They work in a fast-paced environment and are committed to providing excellent customer service.
They are a growing business looking for a Bookkeeper who is driven, detail-oriented, and has great interpersonal skills. This role is perfect for an individual who is looking to gain corporate experience with a potential for growth and career advancement.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll using QuickBooks online.
· Set up new employees in the payroll system.
· Prepare payroll reports, and process T4s, and ROEs as required.
· Set up new vendor and customer accounts.
· Reconcile customer accounts and apply customer deposits daily.
· Send monthly AR statements to the customer.
· Enter all accounts payable (A/P) related invoices accurately, and on time.
· Reconcile AP vendor accounts on a monthly basis.
· Enter vendor and warranty credit memos.
· Process AP cheque runs every month.
· Process credit card payments as required.
· Move the equipment-related AP to the floorplan accounts.
· Reconcile equipment floorplan accounts every month.
· Schedule and post monthly payments on the floorplan account.
· Submit equipment registrations for sold equipment.
· Submit monthly co-op claim forms to OEM.
· Process and enter employee expense statements on the biweekly basis.
· Process and enter subcontractor invoices on a biweekly basis.
· Assist the Accountant in the month-end and year-end process.
· Assist in posting inventory adjustment entries.
Qualifications and Skill requirement:
· Diploma or a degree in Bookkeeping or an Accounting program.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
· Computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Required Experience:
· Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Bookkeeper
· Minimum 1 year of payroll processing experience
· Experience with QuickBooks Online, and IntelliDealer CDK software is an asset
