Job Full Description
Our Tri-Cities based client, a locally owned design and installation company, is hiring an Operations Manager to join their team! You will effectively manage the company’s day to day operations and ongoing projects to ensure company productivity and efficiency. This role also includes implementing business strategies, evaluating company performances, and supervising employees.
Job responsibilities:
- Help build documents for business plans and strategies.
- Manage the resources needed to complete all projects and activities. This includes hiring staff, ordering materials, and managing equipment levels.
- Manage all product purchasing from franchisor and other suppliers.
- Maintain relationships with partners/vendors/suppliers.
- Inventory management
- Organize and coordinate operations to ensure maximum productivity.
- Project Management including managing install schedule for clients and incoming product shipments.
- Gather data to build monthly KPI reports.
- Ensure adherence to legal rules and guidelines.
Requirements and skills:
- 2 – 3 years of managing projects, scheduling install teams, and experience in purchasing/inventory control is required.
- Prefer this experience within the closet design and installation fields.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Time management and prioritization.
- Communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development.
- Knowledge of Quickbooks, Hubspot, or similar programs.
- Knowledge of basic accounting and cash flow experience.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), databases and information systems.
