Job Full Description
Our Tri-Cities client, a provider of door and cabinet architectural hardware for both residential and commercial projects, is hiring a full-time Senior Project Coordinator. This role is responsible for leading and facilitating all ongoing projects. The candidate will work closely with the Head of Project Management and the Field Installations Manager to coordinate and execute the projects as per schedule. Strong organizational skills, a keen detail orientation, and the ability to think critically and strategically to ensure the projects run smoothly are essential.
Job Duties
· Develop, manage, and execute project schedules, ensuring projects are proceeding according to scope, objective, timeline and budget.
· Manage all changes that arise from the projects and liaison between the customers, project teams, and applicable departments to communicate all changes and solutions.
· Minimize the risk that may impact the projects’ progressions and budget.
· Coordinate with internal departments and subcontractors on schedule changes and delivery.
· Manage project costs – monitor actual costs against project estimates on a regular basis.
· Document Control – track and submit all documents related to project progress and the changes amended in each project.
· Work closely with Account Receivable team to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and change orders.
· Attend or Chair project meetings – give directions to the project teams and manage expectations.
· Visit onsite including attending site meetings, site measures, site inspections, etc. (sites can be in town or out of town)
· Other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience
· Minimum 2-3 years of experience working as a Senior Project Coordinator
· Experience working in construction industry is an asset
· Ability to read architectural drawings and specifications
· Previous experience in Division 10 specialty products is an asset
· Familiar with city/building code (BCBC – Accessibility requirements) is an asset
· Must have own vehicle and valid Driver’s License, comfortable to drive in town or out of town, if required
· Highly motivated individual - thinks proactively
· Excellent attention to detail
