Job Full Description

We are currently recruiting for a Junior Project Manager role in Coquitlam. This is a Full-Time & Permanent role at a large restoration company.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years minimum of restoration or construction experience
  • Ability to manage 20-50 projects at any given time
  • Management or Supervisorial experience an asset
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word & Excel
  • Familiarity of the BC Building Code and WorkSafe BC regulations
  • Participate in a rotating after-hours on-call program
  • Ability to prioritize tasks & meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Outgoing, engaging & friendly!
  • Demonstrates the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Excellent communication skills: written & verbal
  • IICRC Certifications an asset, but not required
  • Some overtime may be required during peak business periods
  • Valid BC driver's license with a clean abstract required
  • CSA safety footwear must be worn while visiting jobsites
  • References & a background check will be conducted upon further consideration of a candidate

Duties:

  • Assist the Project Manager with repair estimates & provide weekly updates to the Project Management Team
  • Perform site inspections within the Lower Mainland to ensure delivery of the highest quality of workmanship, ensure all work is performed safely according to WorkSafe BC Regulations
  • Ensure the job schedule is maintained & report any variances
  • Assess required repairs after mitigation & demolition phase is complete
  • Prepare a detailed scope of required repair work
  • Issue work orders to internal & external trades
  • Assist the Project team with preparation of invoicing documents
  • Obtain Certification of Completions
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environments
