Our Port Coquitlam client is expanding looking for a full-time Security Systems Technician to join their amazing team! If you have a minimum of 4 - 5 years of experience in alarm systems, video surveillance, and/or access control, then we are interested in connecting with you!
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install and service IP and analog surveillance systems
 
- Work with networking, access control, and alarm systems
 
- Operate aerial platform lifts as needed
 
- Provide excellent customer service
 
- Collaborate with a team or work independently
 
- Travel as required in the Lower Mainland for various projects
 
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 - 5 years of experience with security alarm systems, video surveillance, and access control preferably in commercial settings as this job is 100% commercial. At the same time, we will consider candidates with residential experience if they have a solid work history.
 
- Strong knowledge of alarm systems, video surveillance, and access control
 
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
 
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
 
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean Driver’s Abstract
 
- Experience operating aerial platform lifts
 
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
