Fulltime and Permanent Production Worker – Graveyard Shift (Coquitlam, BC)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10:00 pm–6:300 am (40 hrs/wk)
Start: ASAP
Compensation: $19.00–$21.00/hr (depending on experience) + night premium + 4% vacation pay
Type: Evaluation-to-Hire (path to permanent)
About the role
Support overnight manufacturing/packaging lines: stage materials, assist with basic machine tasks, perform quality checks, and keep production running safely and on time.
Key responsibilities
- Stage ingredients/components; load/unload and prep for runs
- Assist with start-up/shutdown, changeovers, and clean-downs
- Perform in-process quality checks (weights, labels, seals, lot/batch)
- Pack, label, and palletize finished goods; complete simple production logs
- Maintain a tidy, safe workspace (SOPs, GMP/HACCP, 5S)
What you bring
- 6+ months in production/warehouse/food processing (asset; will train the right candidate)
- Able to lift up to 50 lb and stand/walk/bend for an 8-hour night shift
- Reliable attendance, strong pace, attention to detail, clear English communication
- CSA steel-toe footwear required; WHMIS/OFA-1/forklift/pallet jack and RF scanning are assets
- Comfortable with PPE; respirator use may require being clean-shaven (site dependent)
