Job Full Description
Our client, a growing, vibrant Tri-Cities based HVAC organization, is adding to their team! The Estimator role combines working independently when generating selections/quotes while collaborating with a supportive team in your other responsibilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Estimate HVAC systems
· Generate shop drawings
· Provide piping schematics and Bill of Materials
· Provide customers with accurate pricing and delivery information
· Responding to customers’ requests and inquiries
· Understand customer needs and recommend equipment. This includes sourcing and providing different manufacturer options.
· Conduct follow-up calls with the contractors after quotes have been issued.
· Provide potential process and operation improvements to make our processes more efficient
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum of 2 – 3 years’ experience in estimating HVAC systems
· Possess the knowledge and ability to provide statistics regarding quotes prepared and quotes issued, assess the HVAC customer needs promptly and efficiently, make product recommendations, and provide accurate information regarding the product details.
· Excellent customer service skills and aptitude
· Self-motivated, dynamic, and enthusiastic
