Job Full Description
We are currently recruiting for a mid-level Bookkeeper for our client in Surrey (Bear Creek Park area). This is a Full-Time role covering a Maternity Leave. The Maternity leave is currently set for January 2026 to August 2027.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping & reconciliations
- Proficient with Sage 50
- Proficient in MS Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently while supporting multiple departments
- Excellent communication skills: written & verbal
- Employment References & Triton Background checks will be conducted upon further consideration of a candidates
Duties:
- Manage A/P and A/R functions
- Perform bank reconciliations & process deposits
- Handle EFT payments (via Telpay) & follow-up on past-due accounts
- Record COGS monthly journal entries
- Process employee expense reimbursements
- Prepare equipment purchase invoicing
- Support credit card payments & reconciliations
- Data entry of vendor invoices (via E-Automate)
- Prepare & file PST & EHT returns
- Track & manage credit memos
- Prepare donation letters, assist with sponsorship & donation recordkeeping
- Provide support with commissions: review & verify amounts
- Assist with payroll data entries
