We are currently recruiting for a Recruitment Coordinator on behalf of a large & privately owned logistics carrier in Coquitlam. This role is covering a maternity leave coverage for 18-months, with a possibility of an extension thereafter. Starts ASAP!

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience: job markets, job posts, screening & interviewing, onboarding & offboarding
  • Recognized post-secondary education in Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • Fluent with MS Office Suite
  • Proficient with relevant legislation such as Employment Standards Act, Labor Relations Code, Human Rights Act, Personal Information Protection Act & Workers Compensation Acts
  • Go-getter attitude and a collaborative team player
  • Proactive & anticipates tasks that need attention, identifies ways to improve processes & procedures
  • Maintains strict confidentiality & discretion in all aspects of the position
  • Excellent communication skills: written & verbal
  • Employment References & a Triton Background check will be conducted upon further consideration of a candidate

Duties:

  • Coordinate full-cycle recruitment activities:
    • Create & post recruitment/job postings
    • Screen, resumes, track data & assess eligibility & fit for the role
    • Conducting telephone prescreens
    • Scheduling in-person & virtual interviews
    • Coordinate & assist with onboarding, including preparing new hire documentation & checklists
    • Attend & record exit interviews
  • Maintain & update website & social media accounts for recruitment processes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the applicant tracking system
  • Create & maintain complete personnel records
  • Assist with recruitment metrics & reports
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of new hire orientation documentation & activities
  • Keep up to date on recruiting best practices & relevant legislation such as Employment Standards Act, Labor Relations Code, Human Rights Act, Personal Information Protection Act & Workers Compensation Acts
  • Support the administration of the company Safety Program, including OH&S compliance tracking and active participation in the Joint Health & Safety Committee
  • Contribute to various departmental initiatives aimed at process optimization & the continuous improvement of internal systems
