Job Full Description
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Worker with Forklifting experience to join an established and growing industrial company in Port Coquitlam.
This is a full-time and permanent opportunity ideal for a candidate that has excellent customer service & support skills and familiarity with warehouse environments. The best suited candidate would have a right balance of ambition, enthusiasm and personality. Preference to those bilingual in English/French.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of warehousing experience: order picking and shipping/receiving
- Working experience in operating a forklift is required
- Proficient with MS Suite, SAP Business One for inventory control and familiarity reading blueprints/specifications
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to multitask
- Open to work regional trade shows, events and attend training sessions as required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Bilingual in English/French is considered a strong asset, but not required
- Must be physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Must have your own steel toed safety boots
- Ability to work weekdays and occasional evenings/weekends as required
- Professional references and a background screening will be conducted for candidates moving forward in the hiring process
Duties:
- Communicate with existing & new customers on a daily basis in-person & in the showroom: customer service & preliminary technical support
- Assisting the warehouse team when needed: order picking, shipping/receiving, inventory control
- Administrative duties: data entry of orders & order tracking using SAP Business One
- Attend and work at regional trade shows, events & training sessions as required
- Work closely with the warehouse team as required
