Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is hiring for an entry level to intermediate Accounts Receivables with good mature communication as there will be soft collections involved. This role will be reporting to Office Manager and Owner of the business. This company is a leader in the distribution of flooring industry whose clients include large chain home renovations retailers.
Key Responsibilities:
Create Invoices: Generate and send invoices to customers promptly to ensure timely payments.
Collect Payments: Follow up on overdue invoices and ensure customers make payments on time.
Customer Support: Answer any questions customers have about their bills or payments.
Record Payments: Process and record payments in the accounting system accurately.
Reconcile Accounts: Ensure all payments are properly applied to customer accounts.
Reporting: Prepare regular monthly reports, as well as ad-hoc reports upon request, detailing outstanding payments, overdue accounts, and payment statuses for sales reps.
Keep Records: Maintain accurate accounts receivable records and ensure all data is up-to-date.
Work with Teams: Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve payment issues and provide them with necessary reports.
Adaptability: Be prepared to take on additional tasks or adjust responsibilities based on evolving company needs.
Requirements:
* Good strong and mature ability to communicate
* Soft collections or very good customer service skills
* Any of the above or other accounting experience or education
Wage is $20-22/ hr to start plus 4% vacation pay. Benefits after probationary period/ roll-over to client's payroll.
