Responsibilities:
- Perform core landscaping tasks, including mowing, edging, trimming, and seasonal duties like aeration and fertilization.
- Prune and care for plants using industry best practices.
- Operate and maintain tools like mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
- Delegate tasks and oversee a small team.
- Mentor junior team members and monitor progress to ensure quality standards.
- Communicate with clients on-site, address concerns, and provide updates.
- Record and report daily progress in the company’s CRM (Jobber).
Requirements:
- Experience: 3–5 years in landscaping, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Education: Horticultural certifications (e.g., Red Seal, Master Gardener) or equivalent experience preferred.
Skills:
- Strong plant identification and pruning techniques.
- Proficiency with landscaping tools and equipment.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Driver’s License: A valid BC driver’s license is required.
