We're Hiring : Construction Superintendent
Express Employment Professionals Winnipeg is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent for one of our top clients in the construction industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven leader to oversee high-quality residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all construction activities on-site
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
- Manage subcontractors, trades, and on-site personnel
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality and compliance with building codes
- Monitor progress, resolve issues, and provide daily reports to management
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies
- Handle out-of-town assignments as required
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Construction Superintendent
- Experience managing both residential and commercial projects
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials and best practices
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Willingness to trave for out-of-town projects
- Relevant post-secondary education in construction management or related field preferred.
