We are hiring a Purchasing & Inventory Specialist for a steel manufacturing company in the Etobicoke area. This is a permanent role within the company.
Monday-Friday 7AM-4:00PM
Salary: $60,000-$70,000/year

Responsibilities
• Maintain & execute ISO Procedures for Store Consumables Inventory & Purchasing
• Review, modify and update ISO Stores procedures periodically.
• Prepare, execute and track all Purchase Requisitions (PR’s)
• Prepare, execute and track all Purchase Orders (PO’s)
• Implement & execute best practices for consumable inventory & purchasing.
• Execute and demonstrate best practices in purchasing and stock inventory
• Maintain proper records & inventory for consumables, parts & equipment
• Demonstrate and execute organizational maintenance in the stores.
• Inventory reconciliation periodically
• Maintaining Stores (Stockroom) Housekeeping
• Co-ordinate with various departments, quality, maintenance, production, administration,
etc.
• Highlight any store related issues to direct superior
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in purchasing/inventory specialist roles
- Experience in steel, metal or automotive industries is an asset
- Self-motivated, persistent, and able to work effectively under pressure.
