Job Full Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and experience in electrical systems, with a focus on industrial applications. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical equipment and systems in a manufacturing environment. The Industrial Electrician will work closely with other tradespeople to ensure the efficient operation of machinery and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- troubleshoot plant machinery for efficiency
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using logic controllers and diagnostic tools.
- Work with low voltage systems as well as high voltage applications.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for installation and repair tasks.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople for renovations and new builds within the facility.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed and any parts used.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an 442A Industrial Electrician in an industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including logic controllers, low voltage applications, and schematics.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints related to electrical installations.
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in electrical work.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
