Job Full Description
Express Employment is seeking safety-conscious Forklift Operators to join our dynamic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to efficiently move, locate, and transport products within the warehouse. This role is crucial for maintaining an organized and productive environment while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Shift- Morning, Afternoon, Night
**Must have minimum 1.5 years experience operating Forklift**
Must have the external Forklift License
Duties
- Operate forklifts, Raymond reach, crown reach and counter balance throughout the warehouse.
- Load/unload trailers according to company procedures, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Completion of necessary documentation with care.
- Adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure a clean workspace and carry out housekeeping duties when assigned
- Perform order picking tasks accurately and efficiently using a warehouse management system.
- Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and updates in the warehouse management system.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet daily production goals.
Experience
- 1-2 years previous warehouse experience is an asset.
- 1-2 years previous counterbalance forklift experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Cross dock experience is considered an asset.
- Written and oral communication skills.
- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting equipment issues.

Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse distribution setting is preferred.
