Job Full Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Millwright apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex machinery. As a apprentice , you will be responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of various mechanical systems within our facility, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Fabricate parts as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Analyze equipment performance and troubleshoot issues related to mechanical and electrical systems.
- Work with low voltage systems, including wiring and circuit analysis.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and functions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational processes and improve equipment reliability.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance with a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in fabricating parts and components as required for repairs.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose issues effectively.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems, including logic controllers.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- A strong commitment to safety protocols and practices in the workplace.
- Customer service orientation with the ability to work well under pressure.
