Job Title: Bookkeeper
Location: On-Site or Hybrid (Depending on Client)

About the Role:
We are hiring a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper on behalf of one of our clients. This position is ideal for someone with strong accounting fundamentals, organizational skills, and the ability to manage financial records accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and accounts
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R)
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts
- Process payroll and employee expense reimbursements (as needed)
- Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end close
- Work closely with accountants to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Manage invoicing, collections, and vendor payments
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is an asset
