Position: Field Service Technicians
Job Type: Full-Time and Part time 
Location: Mississauga, covering primarily the GTA and Southwestern Ontario

Reporting to the Regional Field Service Manager in our clients company, successful candidates will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and service of a wide range of power equipment and associated technologies. A strong focus on customer satisfaction is essential, as this role directly supports the continued growth of our service operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and upgrade power solutions for major telecommunications clients including Bell, TELUS, AT&T, and others.

  • Collaborate with the Technical Services team to meet or exceed customer service expectations.

  • Install, troubleshoot, and commission power/control modules and complete assemblies.

  • Conduct diagnostic testing and ensure proper product functionality.

  • Accurately document test results and complete field service reports.

  • Perform power equipment installation, including concrete drilling, cable placement, and AC/DC terminations.

  • Handle removal and replacement of DC lead-acid, lithium, and gel batteries.

  • Work with alternative energy technologies such as solar panels and related systems.

  • Train customers and partners on equipment operation and repair procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of field experience in telecommunications or related industries.

  • Diploma or certificate in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Red Seal Construction and Maintenance Electrician certification is an asset.

  • Familiarity with DC power systems and battery maintenance.

  • Strong understanding of industry-standard safety practices (prior training an asset).

  • Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Work Environment & Additional Requirements:

  • Availability for after-hours or weekend support as required.

  • Approximately 50% travel to customer sites (travel expenses covered).

  • Successful candidates must undergo a Criminal Record Check and submit a Driver’s Abstract upon hire and periodically during employment.
