Job Full Description
Position: Shipper/ Receiver
Type: Temp to Perm Role
Location: Argentia Road, Mississauga
Requirements:

Knows how to drive a forklift with a valid license
-
Proven experience in warehouse distribution or manufacturing
-
Familiarity with warehouse management systems or similar platforms
-
Experience with shipping & receiving procedures, order picking, packaging
-
Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and best practices
-
Warehouse experience with order fulfillment processes is required
-
Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus
-
Ability to work efficiently with attention to detail
Responsibilities:
-
Prepare shipments by packaging products according to specifications and company standards
-
Manage shipping & receiving processes, including verifying orders and updating warehouse management systems (WMS)
-
Ensure accurate order picking and fulfillment for customer orders or manufacturing needs
-
Load and unload materials using appropriate heavy equipment, adhering to safety protocols
-
Maintain organized storage areas to facilitate efficient inventory movement and retrieval
-
Assist with construction or warehouse setup tasks as needed
-
Conduct routine inspections of equipment such as forklifts and cranes to ensure proper operation and safety compliance

Collaborate with warehouse management to optimize shipping schedules and inventory accuracy
