Business Development Specialist (Inside & Outside)
Location: Express Employment Professionals – Mississauga North
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: Base Salary (According to Experience) plus Incentives
Position Summary
Express Employment Professionals Mississauga North is looking for a motivated Business Development Specialist to generate new business, build strong client relationships, and grow existing accounts. This role combines inside and outside sales, requiring both office-based sales activities and regular client visits within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, email campaigns, and client visits.
- Schedule and conduct sales meetings to understand client hiring needs and present staffing solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate service agreements, and close new business opportunities.
- Manage and update the sales pipeline and CRM with all client interactions.
- Follow up with existing clients to identify additional staffing opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure successful placements.
- Attend networking events, trade shows, and business functions to promote Express Employment Professionals.
- Meet weekly and monthly sales activity and revenue targets.
Qualifications
- Experience in B2B sales, business development, staffing, recruitment, or account management is preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable with cold calling.
- Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle preferred.
Working Conditions
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Combination of office work and local travel for client meetings and business development.
- Occasional attendance at networking events and trade shows.
