Growing Mississauga manufacturing organization is looking for an experienced Welder/Fitter with 3+ years of experience in fitting and welding stainless steel. This role is a day shift and has potential for full-time opportunities. If you’re looking for a steady role that offers a great working culture, this role could be for you.

Key Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols.
• Lay out, fit, and assemble stainless steel (20 mm gauge).
• Perform tack welding and welding using MIG, Stick, or Flux-core methods.
• Verify dimensions, alignment, and fit-up to meet specifications.
• Operate fabrication equipment such as torches, grinders, drills, and saws.
• Maintain weld quality and adhere to safety standards.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure project accuracy.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience as a Welder Fitter.
• Strong knowledge of Stainless steel fitting and welding techniques.
• Proficiency in welding methods (MIG, Stick, FCAW).
• Ability to read and interpret structural/fabrication drawings.
• CWB certification (or equivalent) is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently on the Day shift.
