Our client, a well‑established industrial manufacturer in the Etobicoke area, is currently seeking Mechanical Assemblers to join their production team. This is a day‑shift opportunity with a 6‑month contract and strong potential for long‑term or permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components using hand tools and power tools
• Install and secure fasteners (bolts, screws, hardware) to required specifications
• Ensure parts are properly aligned, tightened, and meet quality standards
• Inspect components for defects and report quality concerns
• Accurately complete work documentation and production records
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
• Participate in training to read basic blueprints and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Safely operate equipment such as cranes, ladders, and material‑handling tools
• Maintain productivity targets while meeting quality expectations
• Follow company policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards

What We’re Looking For

• Up to 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Ability to read or learn basic blueprints
• Basic math and computer skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Reliable, safety‑focused, and detail‑oriented
