Woodbridge location manufacturer is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their organization on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of working experience in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical role with 442A Industrial Electrician Certification. - 7am to 3pm shift, however, flexibility is required to cover vacations and leaves on other shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, operational checks, and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Complete installations, modifications, and equipment testing
- Maintain organized work areas and accurate maintenance records
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements
- Support shutdowns, emergency repairs, and required overtime
- Follow all safety procedures and report incidents
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Ontario 442A Industrial Electrician Certification
- Related trades certificate and college diploma
- Minimum 3 years electrical or electromechanical experience
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and codes
- Skilled with maintenance tools, diagnostics, and technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving and equipment improvement skills
- Valid Lift Truck, Scissor Lift, Working at Heights, and TSSA Propane Handling certifications
