Job Full Description
Our client, a well-established manufacturer in the Etobicoke area, is seeking Electrical Assemblers to join their day shift team on a 6‑month contract, with strong potential for long-term or permanent employment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with assembly experience who are eager to develop their skills in electrical and mechanical assembly within a structured manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble basic electrical components following schematics and assembly instructions
- Cut, strip, crimp, and label wires accurately
- Mount electrical components, bend conduit, and route cables neatly within assemblies
- Inspect electrical and electronic components to ensure correct placement, wiring, and quality compliance
- Maintain accurate records of completed work, deviations, and quality concerns
- Complete in-house training to learn basic blueprint reading and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Safely use overhead cranes, ladders, and other material-handling equipment
- Meet production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
Qualifications
- 1+ years of assembly experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills for internal systems and task tracking
- Basic math skills (measurements, quantities, weights)
- Read and interpret blueprint readings
