A well-established distribution company in Oakville is looking for a reliable and motivated Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join their growing warehouse team. If you have hands-on experience operating Raymond Reach forklifts, strong warehouse systems knowledge, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this could be a great opportunity for you.
What We Offer
- $23.00/hr.+ (based on experience)
- Monday to Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Day shift – no weekends
- Temporary to Permanent opportunity
(Permanent placement based on performance and business needs)
Key Responsibilities
- Review production schedules and customer orders
- Accurately pick and prepare orders for shipment
- Operate Raymond Reach forklifts for picking and put-away
- Use RF scanners to complete picks and perform inventory checks
- Assemble, palletize, and stage orders for shipping
- Complete daily forklift and equipment inspections
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse
- Support additional warehouse duties as required by management
Qualifications
- 3+ year experience operating Raymond Reach, Scissor lift certified and experience is an asset
- Valid forklift certification
- Experience using RF scanners and SAP/WMS systems
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
