Our client, a well-established manufacturer in the Etobicoke area, is hiring Mechanical Assemblers to support growing production needs. This is a 3-month contract role with strong potential for permanent placement for reliable, hardworking candidates.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Assemble mechanical components using hand tools and power tools
- Install and fasten screws, bolts, and hardware, ensuring proper alignment and torque
- Inspect parts for defects to meet quality standards
- Record completed work, quality checks, and any issues encountered
- Follow all safety procedures when using tools, equipment, and materials
- Participate in training to learn how to read basic blueprints and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Safely operate cranes, ladders, and material-handling equipment
- Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times
What You Bring
- Up to 1 year of experience in a mechanical or assembly environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Hands-on experience using hand tools
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to read or learn to read blueprints
- Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Reliable and safety-conscious mindset
