Technician – Commercial Systems

Location: Mississauga, ON

Our client in the security industry is hiring a Security Technician to join their growing team.

If you have 1+ year of experience installing or servicing security systems in a commercial environment, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in a stable and evolving industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and service CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Alarms, Emergency Phones, and related systems
  • Install, terminate, and test CAT5/CAT6 cabling
  • Troubleshoot and repair security systems and equipment
  • Conduct pre-installation site inspections
  • Complete detailed service reports and documentation
  • Assist with warehouse duties as required
  • Attend training sessions and maintain safety certifications

Qualifications

  • Experience installing or servicing security systems in commercial environments
  • Knowledge of low-voltage electronics and troubleshooting
  • Basic networking and Windows experience
  • Comfortable with physically demanding work
  • Strong attention to detail and professionalism
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license
  • Ability to pass Reliability Status security clearance
