Job Full Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Manufacturing Operator to join our dynamic team. As a Manufacturing Operator, your primary objective will be to work safely and efficiently to reduce costs, improve productivity, and uphold the highest standards of environmental and occupational safety in the work area. You will gain valuable conceptual knowledge of various manufacturing processes and procedures through exposure and training, while providing assistance to other operators and employees as required by the Production Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently perform assigned tasks in the manufacturing process
  • Assist other operators and employees to ensure smooth operations
  • Adhere to environmental and safety protocols, maintaining a clean and organized work area
  • Acquire conceptual knowledge of manufacturing processes through training and hands-on experience
  • Requires valid Forklift License 
  • Follow instructions from the Production Supervisor and perform additional duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds
  • Capability to work in cold weather and high heat/humidity conditions
  • Willingness to work scheduled 12-hour continental shifts, including weekends and overnights when necessary
  • Aptitude for climbing ladders and stairs and traversing various terrains
  • Flexibility to bend and twist in tight clearance or close-quarter areas
  • Vision at or corrected to 20/40
  • Ability to wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Proficiency in working with hand tools
  • Ability to wear a respirator mask when required

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities
