Job Full Description
Our Pickering client, a leading manufacturer of industrial, specialty and transportation tanks and containers is looking for a Production Labourer to join their dynamic team!

Responsibilities:
- Finish molded products (containers)
- Remove flashing off plastic containers
- Use scrapers, utility knifes and battery-operated hand tools to scrape flashing off finished products
- Use hand and power tools to sand rough spots and finish molded products (sandblasters, jigsaws, circular saws)
- Move containers to different stages of production
- Conduct quality control and inspect containers for quality defects or damages
- Perform housekeeping duties and ensured workstation is clean and tidy
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
- 1-2 years of experience in Production Assembly
- 1-2 years of experience using hand and power tools (jigsaws, sandblasters, circular saws)
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Physically fit, comfortable bending and standing for long periods
- Meticulous and detail-oriented
- Able to work independently and within a team setting
- Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs
- Safety shoes required
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience working with plastic molding (asset)
- Experience working in wood manufacturing environment (asset)
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Coachable, willing to learn, and have a positive attitude
Compensation and Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am to 3:30pm
- Pay Rate: $21 per hour
