Our Peterborough client, a global leader in metal recycling, is looking for a General Labourer to join their team!

Responsibilities:
- Sort and separate different types of metals according to their characteristics and quality standards
- Prepare and process materials to meet company and customer requirements
- Load and unload customer vehicles with materials
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their metal deliveries
- Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times and ensure safe work practices are followed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
- 1-2 years of General Labour or Industrial experience
- 1-2 years of Customer Service experience
- Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs and physically fit
- Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team setting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (verbal)
Bonus Qualifications:
- Forklift Operation experience (asset)
- Experience working with metal recycling or scrap yard environments (asset)
- Able to work in noisy and dusty conditions
Compensation and Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Pay Rate: $20 per hour
