Job Full Description
Our Ajax client, a leading plumbing and HVAC supplier, is looking for a Temporary Delivery Driver to assist with vacation coverage!

Responsibilities:
- Operate a company pickup truck to complete scheduled deliveries to customer locations, shops, and job sites
- Load and unload products and materials into truck
- Deliver a variety of products and materials (HVAC equipment, water heaters, plumbing supplies, pipes, etc.)
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of company vehicle
- Work closely with warehouse and customer service teams to coordinate deliveries
- Utilize the truck's power tailgate to safely load and unload materials
- Follow all company safety policies and transportation regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
- 1-2 years of experience as Delivery Driver
- Valid Class G Driver’s License
- Clean Driver’s Abstract
- Physically fit, reliable, punctual, and dedicated
- Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs
- Comfortable loading and unloading products by hand
- Steel toe boots required
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience delivering building materials, HVAC equipment, and plumbing supplies (asset)
- Great work ethic, and positive attitude
- Diligent worker with great organizational skills
Compensation and Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am to 3:00pm
- Pay Rate: $22 per hour
