Accounting/Admin Clerk – Vaughan
Our Vaughan-based client is seeking an Accounting/Admin Clerk to support daily office and accounting operations. This entry-level role works closely with the office team to ensure accurate transaction recording, assist with A/P and A/R, process weekly payroll, and provide general administrative support. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys numbers and is eager to grow into full-cycle bookkeeping.
Responsibilities

Process weekly payroll

Perform clerical accounting functions (A/P, A/R)

Manage purchase orders, vendor invoices, and PO tracking

Handle A/R follow-up and collections

Assist with weekly EFT payment runs

Prepare safety documentation and Certificates of Insurance (COI)

Maintain and update certifications for field employees

Answer incoming phone calls and provide office support
Qualifications
-
Strong natural proficiency with math
-
Understanding of basic accounting principles

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Proficiency with office software and ability to learn new systems quickly

1–2 years of clerical accounting experience

Experience with Jonas is an asset (training available for the right candidate)
