Job Full Description
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting functions and maintain clean, accurate financial records. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently and supporting a growing business with organized, timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable & Receivable

Enter and track vendor bills and customer invoices

Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on discrepancies

Monitor receivables and assist with collections when required
Banking & Reconciliations
Payroll Support (if applicable)

Assist with payroll preparation (hours, deductions, submissions)

Verify that payroll entries align with accounting records
Reporting & Month-End Support

Prepare monthly financial summaries (P&L, balance sheet review prep)

Maintain organized bookkeeping records for month-end and year-end
-
Support external accountant with HST filings and annual tax preparation
General Bookkeeping

Maintain an accurate chart of accounts

Track and properly allocate expenses across departments/projects

Keep digital receipts and financial documents organized
Required Skills & Qualifications

2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (small business experience preferred)

Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online (or similar accounting software)

Solid understanding of A/R, A/P, reconciliations, and expense tracking

High attention to detail and accuracy
-
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Clear communication and strong professionalism
