Express Employment Professionals St. Catharines is recruiting an HR and Office Manager for a respected St Catharines client company. This role is a full time, permanent, direct hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will be splitting their time and job duties in three categories, Human Resources (40%), Departmental Support (40%), and Office Support Management (20%).

Responsibilities:
- Be the glue that keeps the office running efficiently; providing a helping hand in a busy office environment, ensuring smooth operations and HR functionality
- Provide cross- functional support to logistic, customer service, sales and marketing team members.
- Manage core HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, evaluations, terminations, and organizational development. A big push is needed on employee engagement and retention strategies, employee recognition programs, training, fostering a culture of recognition, development and learning.
- Looking after Health and Safety criteria, streamlining policies. Hiring for vacancies and planning for recruitment strategies. The team varies from 8 to 15 staff members.
- Maintain the IT infrastructure including software and equipment needs and issue resolution
- Coordinate all office activities, maintain office supplies and equipment
- Prepare detailed monthly reports including department result reports, return and warranty trending, customer and product analysis reports, etc.
Skills for Success:
- We are looking for a self-starter and ultimate multi-tasker with real world experience in recruitment, team development and project coordination.
- 5+ years of management or HR experience
- University Degree/College Diploma in HR, Business, or related field
- Positive, outgoing, creative and willing to go the extra mile to ensure company success
- Critical thinker, analytical mindset with the ability to efficiently strategize in a fast-paced environment
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm
Wage: Salary position, $62 - 75K depending on experience
