Job Title: Accounting Clerk

About the Role:
Our client, a well-established non-profit organization, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join their remote team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 3–5 years of experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to contribute meaningfully to a mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform vendor statement reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of accounts payable.
- Place purchase orders with vendors, maintaining proper documentation and follow-up.
- Handle customer sales orders, including creating quotes and maintaining records.
- Conduct inventory counts and reconciliations to ensure accuracy between physical inventory and accounting records.
- Collaborate with various departments to support daily accounting functions.
- Report directly to the Accounting Manager or Controller (depending on company structure).
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience as an Accounting Clerk, preferably in healthcare or food manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and inventory systems.
- Experience working in medium-sized companies is an asset.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
