Administrative & Accounting Assistant (Confidential Client)

Type: Full-time, Permanent

To support this growth, they are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Administrative & Accounting Assistant to join their Toronto team.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), and general bookkeeping tasks.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and service providers, ensuring accurate payments and timely invoicing.
- Support office operations, purchasing, and supply management.
- Assist with new employee onboarding and administrative support for the leadership team.
- Coordinate office equipment maintenance and vendor services.
- Prepare and reconcile expense reports, HST filings, and other payments.
- Provide logistical and administrative assistance for projects and reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or administrative support.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliations, and general accounting principles.
- Excellent organization, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with accounting software is an asset.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
