Job Full Description
We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable landscape supply client located in Whitby, Ontario. We are seeking a customer‑focused Sales Associate to support daily sales operations, provide excellent service, and assist customers with their landscape material needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide courteous, knowledgeable customer service in person and by phone
- Process sales transactions and phone orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare quotations and assist customers with basic landscape material planning
- Complete daily balancing and closing tasks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked sales office
- Support display yard staff when needed
- Answer customer questions regarding products, pricing, and company policies
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures
- Contribute to a professional and positive company image
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
- Basic math skills for quoting and order accuracy
- Experience in landscaping, construction, or retail sales is an asset (not required)
