Duties
- Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to their vehicle concerns
- Explain repair and maintenance options clearly, providing detailed estimates
- Schedule service appointments efficiently and manage workflow
- Upsell additional services or repairs when appropriate, enhancing customer value
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments securely
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Maintain detailed records of service history and customer interactions
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and build loyalty
- Stay informed about automotive repair procedures, parts, and industry updates
Qualifications
- Prior dealership or mechanic experience is highly advantageous
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers
- Sales skills with a focus on upselling additional services
- Experience with cash handling and transaction processing
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes and parts inventory management is preferred
