Job Full Description
Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a skilled Industrial Pipefitter to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and ensuring the proper functioning of pneumatic and hydraulic components on specialized machinery. You will also lead apprentices, troubleshoot equipment during tryout phases, and provide technical support for installations at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
· Install, test, and verify pneumatic and hydraulic components to meet customer specifications, drawings, and safety standards.
· Organize materials and provide leadership and technical guidance to apprentices.
· Take an active troubleshooting role during equipment tryout and debugging phases.
· Assist with the installation of equipment at customer locations, providing technical expertise as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Extensive pipefitting experience within the machine tool build industry.
· Completion of an Industrial Pipefitter apprenticeship program is an asset; alternatively, 5+ years of industrial pipefitting experience.
· Strong ability to read and interpret pneumatic and fluid system drawings.
· Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
· Must supply own basic trade tools (e.g., tape measure, Allen wrenches, screwdrivers, drill, etc.).
