Our client is a Canadian-based environmental consulting firm with over 35 years of experience specializing in soil and groundwater investigations, remediation, compliance, and expert advisory services across North America.
About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer (P.Eng) to join our client’s team based in the Windsor, Ontario area. This full-time role focuses on environmental assessments, compliance, and remedial design and implementation for clients across Canada and the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments and RSC submissions.
- Develop remedial investigations, feasibility studies, and design/implement remediation plans (soil, groundwater, vapour).
- Prepare work plans, budgets, engineering drawings, and technical reports.
- Manage contractors and oversee fieldwork, including excess soil and vapour mitigation projects.
- Provide regulatory support (ECAs, stormwater, discharge, ROW, PTTW) and liaise with MECP and other agencies.
- Ensure compliance with federal and provincial environmental regulations.
- Perform technical problem-solving and data analysis.
- Support project management, invoicing, and client retention activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental or civil engineering.
- Licensed P.Eng or P.E. (US) is required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental consulting.
- Strong communication, technical writing, and client-facing skills.
- Familiarity with MECP, federal/provincial regulations, and working with regulators.
- Experience with geotechnical engineering, soil mechanics, and groundwater systems is an asset.
Compensation & Perks
- The salary range starts at $85,000

Additional Info
- Primarily office-based: data analysis, reporting, and project support.
- 75% of required travel is between Windsor and Toronto. Occasional travel to the U.S. or Western Canada.
