Position Objective

Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician looking for an opportunity to make an impact? This role supports the safe, efficient operation of all facilities, equipment, and production machinery. You’ll work in a collaborative environment where your technical ability, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality contribute directly to production success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine facility maintenance, including repairs to structural elements such as windows, doors, and walls
  • Replace worn or damaged components on equipment and machinery
  • Identify and correct potential safety hazards to prevent injuries
  • Communicate existing or potential issues to the Maintenance Manager and assist with necessary repairs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on production and facility equipment
  • Read and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, blueprints, service manuals, and work orders
  • Assemble, disassemble, and install new machines, sensors, and related equipment
  • Evaluate, repair, and maintain plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and HVAC systems
  • Test and inspect newly installed equipment to ensure proper operation
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts usage, and time spent
  • Report equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, and repair actions
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential equipment failures before they occur
  • Order and replenish maintenance parts and materials to ensure consistent availability
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and related systems, along with diagnostic and repair tools
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve general maintenance issues effectively
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy, safety, and high-quality work
  • Good written and verbal communication skills for reporting and team interaction
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain records
  • Understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to maintenance work
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment

Education

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Vocational training or certification in a related field (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, etc.) preferred
