Job Full Description
We are currently looking for Packagers for one of our local clients.
Duties & Responsibilities for Packagers:
- package all finished steel coils
- Inspect coil for any physical damage
- Prepare all required packaging materials customizing length or size
- Maintain housekeeping in work area at all times
- Maintain packaging schedule and rush lists, communicate by phone or email
- Crane operation
Skill & Education required for Packagers:
- Good manual dexterity
- Excellent physical stamina
- Analytical capabilities
- Ability to exercise some independent judgement
- Flexibility and willingness to assume a wide variety of process-related duties
- Good interpersonal skills
- Computer skills
- Preferably one or two years of training in general or specific skills at a community college level.
Hours & compensation for Packagers:
- $26/hr
- working 12 hour shifts with alternate weekends
