Job Full Description
Our client located in the city if Red Deer is seeking a Pressure Control Specialist to safely function and test pressure control equipment in their busy manufacturing and production facility.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Preparation and setup of Pressure Control Equipment in the test bay
- Pressure test equipment following procedures and work instructions
- Function test equipment following procedures and work instructions
- Accurately document all pressure and function tests electronically
- Follow the process for Control of Non-Conforming Product
- Document any maintenance to the pressure testing units on the Pressure Tester Maintenance Record
- Document pressure gauge and transducer change outs
- Coordinate with Quality Control to ensure change out rotations are completed as required
- Conduct safe work practices
- Ensure the company’s assets and quality control is protected
- Ensure that all company standards, including safety, are complied with as well as quality checks are completed as required
- Complete job traveler/work order sign offs and verifications as required
- Maintain accurate and concise records of all tests on the electronic database
Job Requirements:
- Oil and Gas experience is a definite asset
- A minimum of 3 years of related experience in pressure control testing
- Familiarization with the Quality Management System
- Proven ability to follow health & safety program procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office with advanced skills in Excel
- Experience with projects and with an operational manufacturing facility is an asset
- Proven ability to prioritize and balance a variable workload
- Proven ability to work well independently and in a team environment
- Strong desire to learn new skills and software as required
- Strong communication, organizational and problem solving skills
